Quick, Slip Me A Bride is a romantic comedy currently in pre-production. The main plot is based about Jack, the son of a priest, who is jilted at the altar. In order to avoid taking over his fathers role as priest, Jack must get married.
The film is scheduled to be shot late August 2009, filmed primarily in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This will be the first feature film of production company Talking Lens Productions.
Jack has always been unlucky in love, now having been dumped at the alter he is at his lowest ebb. That is until he meets Nina, a beautiful Bollywood actress. He quickly falls for her, she seems to like him. But theres one critical flaw, she's in the country for an arranged marriage!
Jack tries to put himself up amongst her many suitors, but being an Englishman he's not even allowed through the doors for consideration.
In time, under the guidance of his friend and mentor Sandip, he finds that the only way he's going to get through her Indian protectors and win the girl of his dreams; is to become an Indian himself!
