Gunslinger is a 1956 western directed by Roger Corman. The film stars John Ireland, Beverly Garland and Allison Hayes. The film was shot just outside Kanab, Utah, where the set still stands today. The film was later featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000.

When the sheriff of a small town in the Old West is slain by outlaws, his widow Rose Hood (Garland) takes over as sheriff and cleans up the town. She runs afoul of Erica Page (Hayes), a saloon owner who is buying up cheap land in the hope that a railroad will be built through the town. Page hires Cane Miro (Ireland), a wanted criminal, to kill Hood. However, Miro, who is romantically involved with Page, falls in love with Hood.

Gunslinger was featured as a fifth season episode of the television series Mystery Science Theater 3000. As boasted by series villain, Dr. Clayton Forrester, this was the series' first western. As with many episodes, Joel Robinson and his robot companions, Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo, constantly ragged on many of the mistakes the movie had made.
