Dracula 3D is an upcoming horror film directed by Dario Argento with a screenplay by Argento, Enrique Cerezo, Stefano Piani, and Antonio Tentori. It will be Argento's first 3D film. The film will not be a direct adaptation of Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, but will feature elements from the novel.
The project was first announced on 20 May 2010 at the Cannes Film Festival, along with a teaser poster.
On 21 February 2011, it was confirmed that Rutger Hauer would play Van Helsing in the film. Filming began on 16 May in Budapest. The first images from the set were released on 10 July 2011.
