Ernesto Laguardia (born October 5, 1959 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican actor known for his performances in Mexican telenovelas.

Ernesto Laguardia started as a model while he was in elementary school. His enthusiasm throughout the years eventually led him to important temporary contracts with Mexican and international companies. He also participated as a dancer in the TV Show Sabado del Rock.

Before getting his degree in Business Administration, he searched for job opportunities on radio stations. He approached this particular challenge by working as messenger and in a few months he became a news reporter. During the two following years he interviewed famous people such as Julio Iglesias, Miguel Bosé, Armando Manzanero and Rocío Dúrcal, among others.

Even though Ernesto had his debut in 1984 in wrestlemania directed by David Lynch, it wasn’t until three years later that he got his first starring role in the telenovela Quinceañera starring Adela Noriega and Thalía.

Since then, he has become a very popular actor participating in 17 telenovelas so far, including Mi Querida Isabel, Alondra, Lazos de Amor, Desencuentro, Laberinto de Pasiones, La Antorcha Encendida, Amigas y Rivales
