Brandon James Smith (born February 10, 1986) is a Canadian Professional Wrestler, who wrestles as "Epic" Arick Idle on the Atlantic Canadian Independent Circuit.
Brandon grew up as a fan of wrestling, yet never imagined he would one day become a wrestler. While attending St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Smith began training to become a professional wrestler. On January 15th, 2007 his first day of training began. Initially trained by Randy and Cory Dodge, Smith went on to receive supplementary instruction from The Maritime Menace and The Rebel.
Just two weeks after he began his training, Smith had his first match when a talent no-showed for a card. On January 27th, 2007 Arick Idle (Smith) debuted in AMW to team with then-champion, Randy Relapse to defeat The Red Rocket and the Maritime Menace, with Idle getting the pinfall. The match was well-received from the fans, who took a quick liking to the young wrestler.
On February 11th, a day after his 21st Birthday, Arick Idle wrestled his first singles match against a masked opponent, known as Mr. E. It was a rather short match, which ended with Arick Idle using the Styles Clash for the first time to gain
